Anjana, Taank Optometrists
Clinical Expertise
Anjana Taank, B.Sc. (Hons.) MCOptom, first opened the doors to independent, award-winning Taank Optometrists on Mill Road, Cambridge in 2003. Having qualified as an optometrist in 1995, Anjana volunteered at an eyecare clinic in Kingston, Jamaica, providing free services to those in need. She then went on to hold several roles in optometry practices around the UK.
Anjana’s decision to strike out on her own was driven by her desire to create a specialist local practice that sets new standards in patient care, niche frames and styling thanks to an expertly trained team.
Specialist Glaucoma Care in Cambridge
Anjana is a glaucoma specialist. For the last seven years, in addition to her Head Optometrist role at the practice, she continues to work in the Addenbrooke’s Hospital’s Glaucoma Clinic. This strong relationship with the eye department helps Anjana remain at the cutting edge of advances in clinical eye care to ensure you receive the very best treatment.
An Independent Optician
As Cambridge high streets become increasingly homogeneous, independent businesses are more important than ever. When it comes to eye care, small means specialised. It means more time devoted entirely to you, putting you at ease, giving you tailored advice and reviewing your concerns.
Also, because we get to know you, we can confidently handpick a range of world-class frames specifically with you in mind. With the support of our professionally trained stylists, you’ll be able to choose the perfect frames to suit your face shape, colouring and personality to ensure you’re looking your very best.
Independent businesses bring quality products and personal service to Cambridge and Taank is proud to be part of the wider indie community, as well as the Mill Road Traders Association.
