• Our process

This is a carefully curated experience. It starts with the warm welcome you receive the moment you arrive, continues with the highest level of clinical expertise, and shines through in the care we take to help you browse our carefully sourced eyewear collection to find your perfect frames.

  • About Anjana

Anjana Taank, BSc (Hons) MCOptom, opened the doors to independent, award-winning Taank Optometrists on Mill Road in 2003 having qualified as an optometrist in 1995. In addition to her work at the practice, she also works at the Addenbrooke’s Hospital Glaucoma Clinic.

  • Giving back

Around the world, too many people are denied access to quality eyecare, even when 75% of sight loss is preventable. Sight-impaired people are living in fear of stigma and discrimination, their lives and those of their families blighted and unfulfilled. Cambridge opticians, Taank, supports charities that are working hard to transform lives and raise awareness of these issues.

  • Awards

Awards aren’t everything, but who doesn’t love a bit of recognition? We couldn’t do any of it without our wonderful, supportive patients. These are for you.

  • Covid 19 information

We’re all adjusting to a new normal. Since the introduction of social distancing and PPE guidelines, we’ve put in place a few extra precautions to keep you safe and secure during eye exams and fittings. So when you visit for your appointment, things will look a little different, but rest assured the care and attention to detail remain exactly the same.
