When we were given the chance to sponsor Cambridge Writers for Ukraine we jumped at the chance! Held on May 17th, 2022 at local cafe Hot Numbers and hosted by Ukrainian art historian Olenka Pevny, it was a brilliant celebration of freedom of expression and creative imagination.

A selection of writers shared their work and auctioned one of their books, including Melissa Fu, Guinevere Glasford, John Greening, Hollie McNish, Caroline Shenton, and Francis Spifford.

The evening was extremely well attended and raised an incredible £3000 for UNHCR Ukrainian Appeal. What a great–and suitably cerebral–way for the Cambridge and Mill Road community to come together in support of a worthy cause.
