This year we raised in excess of £500 for the National Blind Children’s Society as part of the Mill Road Winter Fair celebrations. Taank Optometrists were offering complimentary hot chocolate and cookies as a festive gesture to those enjoying the sight, smells and sounds of the wonderful cultural activities that were brought to Mill Road on this day.

Our town crier also helped to deliver the news of the special half price eye test as part of the fund raising for the event, The whole event created a special ambiance that only Mill Road can.. We were astounded by the generosity of those who passed through our doors and would like to thank everyone who donated.
